Glorious Children

    A bit nervous, I walked  into  the classroom, sat and introduced myself.  I have played for children before...often ....mostly at farmers markets and family events.  I was not prepared for such a structured group of Kindergarderers, first and second graders. I thought to myself " I am now 7" , what do I want to hear? I started with  "I can sing a rainbow"  then quickly to Yummy In the Tummy", "Ickle me Tickle me" and they keep comming. 

      It's been a few months now and I'm in heaven. Once a week I get to hear the shy ones come out shells, the "too cool to sing" ones sing to the rafters and everyone is learning where is Do , Re, Mi..etc. I have been able to tell of dreams and stories ,make believe, of science and of art.  I still go to see what it is they might teach me!
